Giant squid filmed in Japan

The [tag]squid[/tag], that measured about 24 feet long (7 meters), was caught and filmed in the [tag]Ogasawara[/tag] Islands, south of [tag]Tokyo[/tag].
According to words of a Japan´s National Science Museum, [tag]Tsunemi Kubodera[/tag], this is the “first time anyone has successfully filmed a giant squid that was alive. Now that we know where to find them, we think we can be more successful at studying them in the future.”The squid died while it was being caught.
