The new rumour on the net is that Steve Jobs is going to unveil the new iPhone (obviously a mix of iTunes and… phone) very soon. Some say that [tag]iPhone[/tag] is not ready to be revealed, some say it will be unveiled this week… but I don’t buy it. According to a recent post in O’Grady’s PowerPage, iPhone will not be revealed in the electronics expo at San Francisco, because Apple has not yet recieved U.S. regulatory approval for the phone.

Actually, I think that iPhone will not be in [tag]Apple[/tag]’s priority list and if it is, it will most probably fail. Why?
When I first bought an iPod (it was the iPod Photo) back in the old times (not so old, but computing world grows too fast), I was amazed. Wow, man… a tiny machine that has 30 Gb and reproduces music! Wow, dude… wow.
Simply, wow-dude.
I am still using that very same iPod. When [tag]iPod[/tag] Video came out, my illusion on iPods disappeared.
An iPod in which you can watch videos in a screen with the size of Britney Spears’s brain. I am sorry, but I just don’t want to need glasses in a couple years. Why would I want to watch Deuce Bigalow in such a ridiculous screen? Is that normal?
That’s why iPhone will fail. Because people are not stupid. If you want a phone, buy a phone. Yeah, dude! Go ahead! Get a freakin’ cellphone! If you want music… get an iPod, get a Zune, get whatever you want!
Sometimes I feel that big technology corporations are trying to harrass me.
