Windows Live… is it alive?
Microsoft’s search market share… dropped. Internet services sales forecast… dropped. That is the problem with Microsoft now. That its image has become so… old. So… crappy, that people want new stuff, better stuff. They
don’t want a company that restricts their movements because that means to marry someone that treats you like a dog.
Analysts say that Microsoft is going to be seriously affected by the poor branding that Windows Live has recieve. In fact, the branding has been inexistent. I haven’t seen any kind of advertisement of Windows Live and very few people really know what it is about.
However, I think that the problem is not the branding… is the content itself. We have all seen Internet Explorer… crappy, right?
In fact, it is more than just crappy. It’s old, it smells like that old MS-DOS that Napoleon used to play Age of Empires before he became an emperor.
We have all seen Hotmail… slow, low capacity, not trustworthy, crappy. We have all seen MSN Search… crappy, slow, inefficient.
Now let’s look at the new stuff. Google… fast, easy. GMail… elephant memory, huge services. [tag]Firefox[/tag]… fast, simple, trustworthy.
You see what I’m talking about? I no longer use Internet Explorer because I feel molested. I no longer use Hotmail because it looks like a pre-kinder mail service. I have never used [tag]MSN[/tag] Search because it is slow and unnoying.
