Es verdad que muchos, algunos de ellos analistas y expertos, han dicho que la ciencia y la tecnología están estancadas. Que ya no se inventa nada, que es como si ya no se pudiese inventar nada porque todo ya está descubierto e inventado.

Que durante los últimos 50 años no se ha hecho ningún descubrimiento científico de vital importancia. Que el último gran avance tecnológico en nuestra historia ha sido Internet.

In a project between UCLA and Caltech, scientists have created the densest memory circuit. It has the size of a blood cell. The density is 100 times better than the standard storing devices and further improvement could make it even smaller.

Although mass production would not be possible until 2015, this is an amazing improvement not only in technology but also in science. Nanotechnology is probably one of the hottest topics in technology right now and this is the case that demonstrates how much we have improved since electricity was discovered.
